The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with C.R. No.443 of 2016 (T.R. No.2049/2018), registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 452, 379, 504, 323, 341, 342 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is said to have demanded Rangdari from the complainant and snatched Rs.1000/- kept in the upper pocket of the complainant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that the complaint is lodged after delay of three

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34413 of 2022(2) dt.27-09-2022 2/2 days without giving any explanation.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing the bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Darbhanga in connection with C.R. No.443 of 2016 (T.R. No.2049/2018), subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
