Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs this Court that the petitioner is aggrieved by the illegal action of the Registrar of the University, who has not taken any steps for making payment of pension from January, 2017 till December 2018 in spite of the fact that it is admitted that the petitioner had retired on 31.12.2016.

3. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the Registrar of the University is directed to call for the records relating to the petitioner and make payment of pension from January 2017 to December 2018 along with the interest accrued on the amount which is required to be paid to the petitioner. For other reliefs, the petitioner, if so advised, may file a detailed representation before the Registrar of the University.

4. The Registrar of the University is directed to ensure to make payment of pension for the period as claimed for in the present writ petition and payment of other admitted retiral dues is also required to be paid by disposing of the representation of the petitioner within a period of six weeks.
