The present application involves the issue of approval of appointment as Principal by the Governing Body of the College. In view of the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Sirsi Municipality vs. Cecelia Kom Francis Tellis, reported in AIR 1973 SC 855 and Vaish Degree College, Shamli & Ors. Vs. Lakshmi Narain & Ors., reported in AIR 1976 SC 888, the remedy available to the petitioner is by way of filing suit before the competent Civil Court.
