The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Saharghat P.S. Case No. 66/2015, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that his daughter was married to Shrawan Safi (petitioner) about ten years ago. She also got children, but her husband used to torture her. On the date of occurrence the daughter of the informant informed him on the telephone that her husband and others had brutally assaulted her and she would not survive. On such the informant went to the house of his daughter and found that the dead body of his daughter was being cremated.

Mr. Ajay Kumar Thakur, Learned counsel for the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8961 of 2016 (4) dt.28-06-2016 2/2 petitioner submits that the two or three other witnesses have stated that husband of the deceased was assaulting her and on account of such assault she committed suicide. Other witnesses have also stated the facts.

The petitioner, being husband used to assault his wife and just before the occurrence, the deceased telephoned her father about the assault made by her husband. I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
