Petitioner is languishing in custody since 08.12.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner claiming himself to be area agent of Sarthian Farming Private Limited persuaded the informant to invest with assurance of good interest and consequently petitioner and others invested Rs. 1,50,000/-. Subsequently a cheque of rupees one lack thirty thousand was issued which got bounced.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the alleged cheque of the company was issued with the signature of one of the Directors of the company.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4462 of 2015 (2) dt.04-02-2015 Statement has been made in para-3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No. 557 of 2014.
