2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.T. No. 30/2025 arising out of Laxmipur (Gidhaur) P.S. Case No. 474 of 2023 dated 27.10.2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 379, 354B, 307, 504 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel are that this is the second attempt of the petitioner to get the relief of bail and his earlier prayer was rejected by this Bench vide order dated 09.04.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 81163 of 2024 and the fresh grounds for renewing the bail prayer are petitioner's long incarceration period in jail and the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33166 of 2025(2) dt.20-06-2025 2/2 liberty granted by this Bench to renew his bail prayer after the framing of charge. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 28.08.2024 and his trial has started and upon him, the charges have been framed on 18.02.2025 and till date out of nine chargesheet witnesses, only one prosecution witness has been examined, so, there is less chance of early conclusion of the petitioner's trial in near future.
4. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel, this Court is now inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with S.T. No. 30/2025 arising out of Laxmipur (Gidhaur) P.S. Case No. 474 of 2023.
