The petitioners seek bail in Baisi P.S. case No. 206/2020 registered u/s 272, 273 of the IPC and u/s 30(a), 41/47 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are driver and cleaner of the pick up van and from the pick up van 456.80 liters of country made liquor was recovered and for that petitioners are in custody since 25.08.2020. The petitioners have remained in jail for about five months and they have got no criminal antecedent. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioners, the petitioners, above

No.33270 of 2020(3) dt.22-01-2021 2/2 named, are directed to be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Purnea in connection with Baisi P.S. case No. 206/2020.
