The petitioner seeks regular bail in Patliputra P.S. Case No. 402 of 2014 registered under Sections 419/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Bihar Examination Act. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner impersonated himself to be Gautam Kumar, bearing Roll No. 1430527071, and he was appearing at the examination in place of Gautam Kumar but the petitioner was apprehended. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner did not appear, rather he was apprehended at the gate of the Examination Hall. The petitioner is in jail since 20.12.2014. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has remained in jail for 11⁄2 months, the above named
