2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with B.P. No. 2063 of 2023 in connection with Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 63 of 2022 dated 13.06.2022, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B), 201, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that the informant's daughter was married to petitioner's son since 6th March, 2021 and informant has gifted Rs. 2,00,000/-, buffalo, ornaments and other items to his daughter. After few months of marriage, daughter's in-laws started to torture her for nonfulfillment of dowry demand of motorcycle. On 13.06.2022, the informant got the information that his daughter has been killed
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34571 of 2023(2) dt.24-06-2023 2/3 by her in-laws and her dead body has been disposed of. When he reached matrimonial house of his daughter (deceased), he could neither found her nor her dead body.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. He further submitted that the petitioner is accused of having taken part in the killing of the informant's daughter for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is further submitted that the informant lodged F.I.R. against all the family members though the prime responsibility of maintaining the honour and dignity of the deceased lies with the husband. Learned counsel further submitted that another co-accused namely Arun Yadav has been granted bail vide order dated 19.01.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 60119 of 2022 by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Lastly, it has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 17.03.2023 has no criminal antecedents and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.
5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let

No.34571 of 2023(2) dt.24-06-2023 3/3 the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, VI, Bhojpur, Ara in Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 63 of 2022.
