The petitioner is an accused in connection with Khagaul P.S. Case No. 424 of 2022 registered for the offences under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4/6 of the POCSO Act lodged on 19.12.2022 by the informant, Budesh.

As per the prosecution story, the allegation against the petitioner is of having sexually assaulted a four year old child. Accordingly, the FIR.

In this case, a case diary was called for by an earlier bench on 11.07.2023 as also statement under section 164 of the Cr.P.C., which has since been received.

The bail application stands rejected.
