The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 325, 307, 354(B) and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, 34 named, including this petitioner, and 500-600 unknown persons are alleged to have abused and assaulted the informant and her daughter and thereafter, looted household articles.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that for the same occurrence, there is case and counter case. The case lodged from the petitioner's side is earlier in point of time. Allegation of abuse and assault is general and omnibus in nature. Both parties have entered into a compromise.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Case No. 190 of 2019, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
