====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-07-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hajipur Sadar P. S. Case No. 560/2020 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, when the informant after loading goods on his pickup van proceeded from Patna to Purnia and reached at Ramashish Chowk, 7-8 miscreants came on one pickup van and one Scorpio and overtook his pickup van. Out of them, three miscreants, on the point of pistol took away his pickup van and got him seated in the Scorpio vehicle and threw him on the way.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Name of the petitioner surfaced during course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Arvind Kumar Sahni, who has already been granted regular bail by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 08.02.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49409 of 2022. Petitioner is in custody since 16.12.2024 and till date he has not been put on trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, slow progress of trial and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Sadar P. S. Case No. 560/2020. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
