The petitioner is accused in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case No. 52 of 2014 registered under Sections 376, 379 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation of informant, Punam Kumari, is that petitioner, who is the brother of her Bhabhi, used to visit her parental house. In course of visit, petitioner carried the informant and forcibly performed marriage in the year 2006 at the house of his friend. The family of the petitioner has knowledge about the marriage, but later on, petitioner and his family members refused to keep her making demand of dowry.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7571 of 2015 (2) dt.10-04-2015 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the brother-in-law of the brother of the informant and has visiting terms. When the petitioner got the job, the family of the informant tried to arrange the marriage of informant with the petitioner but the family of the petitioner was not ready due to that reason this false case has been lodged only to give pressure. It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 26.09.2014. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M., Danapur at Patna in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case No. 52 of 2014.
