As per petitioner's counsel, the petitioner has been granted benefits under the Modified Assured Career Progression (for brevity, MACP) Scheme vide Memo No 234 dated 23.01.2020, but with effect from a wrong date. He submits that pointing out the anomaly in grant of third MACP, which has resulted in deprivation of monetary benefits, the petitioner has approached the authorities by representation dated 12.07.2021,

Patna High Court CWJC No.9166 of 2022(2) dt.29-07-2022 2/2 which has been addressed to the Deputy Secretary (Respondent No 3) though the Executive Engineer (Respondent No 5). The limited prayer is that the authorities be directed to consider the petitioner's claim raised in the representation which is Annexure 3 to the instant writ petition.

In view of the limited prayer, the learned State Counsel has no objection.

This writ petition is disposed of.

The concerned respondents, noted above, are required to take all steps to ensure disposal of petitioner's representation expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. (Madhuresh Prasad, J) M.E.H./- U
