Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 379, 420 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections 18 (B), 18(C), 27 (B) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.

Petitioner is in jail custody since 18.12.2015 on the accusation that he was selling medicines without having any valid licence.

The contention on behalf of the petitioner is that petitioner applied for valid licence and, as a matter of fact, he was not selling any medicine.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate,
