2. Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the outset, has pointed out that due to inadvertence petitioner no.1 Putul Kumari has been stated to be the daughter of Putul Pasi whereas she is the wife of Putul Pasi and the said correction has been made by way of supplementary affidavit.
3. A prayer for bail has been made on behalf of the petitioners in connection with Jamalpur GRP P.S. Case no.17 of 2026 registered under sections 303(2), 305(c), 317(4), 112(2), 336(3) and 341(1) of BNS, 2023.
4. Allegation in the F.I.R is that some unknown miscreant snatched mangalsutra of the informant and ran away.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a case of theft of mangalsutra was reported against some unknown
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36204 of 2026(2) dt.10-06-2026 2/2 miscreant for which Jamalpur P.S. Case No.15 of 2026 was registered, however, the petitioners were not made accused in the said case. However, during investigation in Jamalpur GRP Case No.17 of 2026, two women were seen in CCTV footage under some suspicious state and when raid was conducted some gold jewelry, silver etc. were recovered from the house of four women, however T.I.P was not held. As such, there is no clear link of the said articles being stolen one. The petitioners are ladies having no criminal antecedent and are in custody since 14.04.2026.
6. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the articles recovered have not been put on T.I.P. and petitioners have no criminal antecedent, the petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Jamalpur GRP P.S. Case no.17 of 2026 on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court concerned where the case is pending/successor Court.
