Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 427, 341, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 (i) (x) of S.C./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

It is a case of misuse of privilege of bail only for one day but it is alleged that petitioner made himself absent from the trial when a witness appeared to depose against him. Moreover, on the very next day, petitioner surrendered before the trial court and is languishing in jail custody since long.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on
