The petitioner seeks bail in Sonbarsa P.S. Case No.136 of 2020 registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The informant got information that many persons are loading liquor on a Sumo vehicle and on such, a raid was conducted. Two persons were apprehended on the spot and others managed to flee away. From the vehicle, altogether 586.5 litres of Nepali Saufi liquor was recovered. Petitioner is in jail since 06.08.2020.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner has already remained in jail for more than four months and petitioner along with others were loading the liquor in the vehicle and petitioner is not the owner of the

No.33375 of 2020(2) dt.15-12-2020 2/2 vehicle, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.
