JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-06-2019 The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is that despite a written information given to the Officer-in-Charge of Gaurichak Police Station, Patna on 05.03.2019 regarding a cognizable offence, no FIR was instituted.

It has been contended that on failure of the police to register FIR on the basis of writen report dated 05.03.2019, the petitioner submitted a written information to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna on 15.03.2019, but the same also yielded no result.

Regard being had to the availability of an equally

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.963 of 2019(2) dt.24-06-2019 2/2 efficacious statutory remedy to the petitioner under Sections 190 and 200 read with 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition in extra ordinary writ jurisdiction.

The application is dismissed.
