2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Mahila Thana P.S. Case No. 55 of 2018 instituted under Sections 376, 420, 509, 323, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 29.05.2018 by the informant, Kritika Kumari.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by the petitioner on the pretext of marriage and later abuse and threatened to kill her. This led to the FIR.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner tried to impress upon this Court that no such occurrence took place,

No.34416 of 2025(2) dt.22-05-2025 2/2 subsequently, they are in the process of getting compromise, charge-sheet has not been filed, learned APP, Mr. Bharat Bhushan opposes the prayer submitting that the FIR is of the year 2018, for seven years he is roaming free without approaching the Court for grant of relief. The submission is that it is unfortunate that even after seven years, charge-sheet has not been filed.

7. Considering the submissions of the parties as also the facts that have narrated aforesaid, no relief can be extended to the petitioner.

8. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

9. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna is required to look into the matter how in a case of the year 2018, the Police has not even able to take the matter to its logical conclusion either way to allowing the petitioner to roam free and after seven years, has approached the Court.

10. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the office of Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna for his perusal and needful.
