The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The name of the petitioner was suspected during investigation, and on such suspicion, the petitioner was arrested. The petitioner has confessed his guilt before the police.
It is submitted that the petitioner was coerced to confess, and except the confession before the police, there is no material against the petitioner. Of course, the petitioner has got criminal antecedents, but he is in jail since 11-6-2013. The petitioner has already remained in jail for one year and ten months.
