Patna High Court MJC No.3134 of 2018(8) dt.29-01-2020 2/3 29-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State as well as learned counsel for the University.

The present petition has been filed for initiation of a contempt proceeding for willful disobedience of the order dated 07.03.2018 passed in CWJC No. 9610 of 2017.

Learned counsel for the University submits that the direction of this Court dated 07.03.2018 passed in CWJC No. 9610 of 2017 has been complied with.

Learned counsel for the petitioners admits this position, with regard to the petitioners except petitioner no. 4. So far as petitioner no. 4 is concerned, arrears of his salary has not been paid in terms of the direction of this Court inasmuch as per entitlement, the same has been calculated by the University but balance amount has not been paid to the petitioner as yet. Considering the aforesaid, the present proceeding is dropped with liberty to the petitioner no. 4 to approach the Vice Chancellor, L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga (opposite party no. 3) along with a copy of this order which shall be looked into and necessary orders for payment of arrears of salary to the petitioner no. 4, in terms of the direction of this Court, shall be
