The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

As per the prosecution case, 99 litres of liquor was recovered from the bathan of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 24.2.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 51449 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner is in custody for more than one year since 22.6.2021.

No.35140 of 2022(2) dt.13-07-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner vide aforesaid order of rejection dated 24.2.2022 together with the period in custody, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kudhani (Turki O.P) P.S. Case no. 662 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Excise Court II, Muzaffarpur.
