The petitioner is in custody since 05.04.2022 in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 683 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a)/34/36/38(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and Section 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is recovery of 187.200 litres of country made liquor from an open filed.

Considering the prosecution case and the fact that the petitioner is not even remotely connected with the place of recovery and the petitioner is in custody since 05.04.2022 and the fact that most of the cases are being filed against him out of previous grudge, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34398 of 2022(2) dt.20-08-2022 2/2 bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Excise Court No. II, Muzaffarpur in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 683 of 2018. The petitioner will visit the concerned Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
