That this is an application for issuance of writ(s) of Mandamus or other appropriate writ to set aside the order contained in memo No.

173 dated 4.2.2023 passed in case number 3/2023 by the District Magistrate, Ara whereby and whereunder the petitioner's application for grant of N.P. bore rifle license has been rejected in contravention of section 14 of the arms act 1959 and also without considering the materials on record.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8559 of 2023 dt.05-09-2023 2/2 And other relief which the petitioner found deserving to be granted for arms license under the Arms Act 1959 as well as Arms Rule 2016 under the facts and circumstances of the case. 2.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 4.2.2023, passed by the District Magistrate, Ara at Bhojpur, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate appeal is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be heard on merits by the appellate authority and disposed off, by a reasoned and a speaking order within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
