1. It is reported by the Learned counsel for the petitioner that the Writ petitioner has died long back, and therefore, he intends to bring the legal heirs of the petitioner onto record by way of a substitution petition.

2. However, on perusal of the Writ petition, it is evident that the matter pertains to the cancellation of the PDS dealership of the petitioner on 20.03.2017. Even if the legal heirs of the petitioner are substituted in this case, the cause of action does not survive. If at all the legal heirs of the petitioner intend to seek the PDS dealership on

Patna High Court CWJC No.13204 of 2017(6) dt.08-07-2025 2/2 the ground of compassionate appointment, the procedure under the Control Order is different, and they have to approach the concerned authority.
