JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 24-01-2023 Heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has filed a petition for measurement of his land before the Circle Officer, Banma Ithari, Saharsa on 15.06.2015, but the same has not yet been finalized.

The Bihar Tenancy (Amendment) Rules, 2017, has been framed and the notification in this regard has been published on 05th September, 2017, wherein the procedure for measurement of raiyati land is prescribed.

Accordingly, this writ application is disposed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition for measurement

Patna High Court CWJC No.1606 of 2018(3) dt.24-01-2023 2/2 in terms of the Bihar Tenancy (Amendment) Rules, 2017 before the competent authority within a period of three weeks from today and if such a petition is filed by the petitioner, the competent authority shall dispose the same in accordance with the Rules, 2017, within a period of three months thereafter.
