2. Heard Mr. Rajani Kant Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Tiwari, learned AC to GA 11 for the State.

3. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:

"That the petitioner craves indulgence of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions, command/commands directing the respondent no. 3 to release the Truck bearing Registration No. JH02L 7711 in favour of the petitioner in connection with Confiscation Case No. 74 of 2020

Patna High Court CWJC No.8526 of 2020 dt.01-02-2021 2/2 arising out of Forest Case No. 55 of 2020 to the satisfaction of Learned Divisional Forest Officer cum Authorised Officer, Rohtas Forest Division, Sasaram, District-Rohtas within a specified period."

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the writ application, final order has been passed in Confiscation Case No. 74 of 2020. Accordingly, prayer was made that the writ petition be disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to prefer statutory appeal before the appropriate authority.

5. In view thereof, as prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to pursue the forum available to him under law against the final order passed in Confiscation Case No. 74 of 2020 arising out of Forest Case No. 55 of 2020.
