Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 25 (I-B) a, and 26 of the Arms Act.

One country made pistol is said to have been recovered from beneath the bed of the petitioner on which petitioner was found sleeping.

The contention on behalf of the petitioner is that petitioner is resident of another village and, as a matter of fact, he was not aware about seized firearm and moreover, recovery of firearm without any cartridge is meaningless.

It is also pointed out that petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and is languishing in jail custody since 23.11.2015.

Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on
