The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No.284 of 2020 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 384, 307 and 504 of the IPC.

It is a case of assault to the informant and his sons by the accused persons along with petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to petty dispute and local politics. He further submits that some dispute was going on with respect to money transaction between the parties, and small scuffle has been taken place between both the parties, in which both the parties have sustained injuries. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44508 of 2021(2) dt.23-03-2022 2/2 petitioner submits that the injury is simple in nature. He further submits that statement taken by the police of witnesses clearly shows that there is no demand of extortion by the petitioner. Petitioner has clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order is directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No.284 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
