Petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with allegation that he along with other accused made indiscriminate firing causing death of informant's father.

In para-3 of the petition it has been pleaded that petitioner carries criminal antecedents of 12 cases.

Learned counsel for the informant points out that altogether 24 cases has been registered against the petitioner, who happens to be a veteran criminal. Moreover, trial of the petitioner is in progress and one co-accused, whose trial has been separated, has already been convicted and awarded life imprisonment. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail in connection with Runni Saidpur P. S. Case no. 195 of 2012 pending in the court of learned Adhoc Additional Sessions Judge, Sitamarhi, stands rejected.

However, learned trial court must expedite the trial of
