In the present writ application, the petitioner is challenging the action of the Bank refusing the petitioner to be appointed as Armed Guard as he has applied under the general category but, failed to reach to the bench mark fixed by the Bank. From paragraph no.12 of the counter affidavit, it appears that the petitioner has got only 36.33 marks below the cut-off marks i.e. 37 for the general candidate for the post of Armed Guard. In that view of the matter, the petitioner has failed to reach the cut-off marks fixed by the Bank. Accordingly, this Court does not find any merit the claim of the petitioner.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3334 of 2018 dt.20-08-2018 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that completely wrong selection has been made. If the petitioner is so sanguine, he may approach to the higher authority of the Bank who will examine the matter and if it is found that bungling has been done, the authority will take steps for rectification. With the aforementioned observation and liberty, this writ application is dismissed.
