The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Narpatganj P.S.Case No.144 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation against the petitioner is about recovery of 15 ltrs. of liquor from the petitioner.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody for about 2 1⁄2 months.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33203 of 2019(2) dt.20-05-2019 2/2 (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise, Araria in connection with Narpatganj P.S.Case No.144 of 2019.
