JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 21-08-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the Central Board of Secondary Education (in short 'C.B.S.E.') and learned counsel for the Gyansthali High School, Bairiya, Sampatchak, Patna (hereinafter referred to as the 'School').

Petitioner in the present case is seeking the following reliefs:- "a) For issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, commanding the respondents to correct the date of birth from 15.03.2006 to 17.03.2006 in the Marks Statement Cum Certificate, Secondary School Examination, 2022 of the petitioner issued under the signature of respondent no. 2.

b) For any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders or direction/directions which petitioner deemed entitled to in the light of facts

Earlier after hearing learned counsel for the parties, this Court directed the C.B.S.E through its Chairman (Respondent No. 1) and the Controller of Examination (Respondent No. 2) to take up the matter and resolve the issues within a period of two weeks from the date of passing of the order i.e. 01.08.2023.

4. Today, learned counsel for the C.B.S.E has submitted that the C.B.S.E has approved the required correction.

5. Learned counsel for the School has informed that as advised by the C.B.S.E the documents in original (marksheet and migration) along with a demand draft of Rs. 1050/- drawn in favour of Secretary, C.B.S.E payable at Patna have been submitted in the office of the Secretary, C.B.S.E today.

6. On this, Mr. Vinay Krishna Tripathi, learned counsel for the C.B.S.E submits that the corrected certificates shall be issued within one week.
