In this case, the petitioner is claiming that he should be granted employment on contract basis for two years. It is a fact that the petitioner was working as Sanitary Inspector in the Office of the In-charge Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Jale, Darbhanga, and he has superannuated from the service on 31.01.2018. Thereafter, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.8192 of 2018 dt.21-08-2018 2/2 petitioner applied for employment on contract basis and the same was sent to the Committee to examine the case of the petitioner and take decision in accordance with law. The said Committee has considered the cases of 14 persons including the petitioner and recommended for employment on contract basis, but till date the appointment order has not been issued by the respondent authorities.

Let the petitioner file a detailed representation to the Collector, Darbhanga for redressal of his grievance. If such a representation is filed, the Collector will call for the records and after examining the same take decision in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of filing of representation by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
