=========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE JUSTICE SMT. ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 23-06-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 11.11.2003 passed by the 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, West Champaran, Bettiah, in Criminal Appeal No. 42 of 1996 by which he has affirmed the conviction of the Petitioner under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment of six months.
Considering the merits of the case, I am not inclined to interfere in the matter. However, so far as the sentence is concerned, in view of the manner of occurrence and date of the same, it is modified to the period already undergone by the Petitioner. With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the revision application is dismissed.
