JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-07-2020 When the matter was taken up on 02.07.2020, the Court was informed that a counter affidavit had been filed. The said counter affidavit does not mention as to whether the petitioner has been granted Assured Career Progression, which, according to him, he was entitled to. It has rather been stated in the counter affidavit that Urdu Directorate, Department of Ministerial Secretariat, Government of Bihar, Patna is the petitioner's parent department and accordingly the issue in relation to grant of Assured Career Progression has been referred to the concerned Department, Government of Bihar. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Director,

Patna High Court CWJC No.14266 of 2017(5) dt.06-07-2020 2/2 Urdu Directorate, Department of Ministerial Secretariat, Government of Bihar, Patna to consider the petitioner's claim for grant of Assured Career Progression as raised in the writ application and take a decision within three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order. It goes without saying that if the petitioner is found entitled to grant of Assured Career Progression and he is granted such benefit, he will be entitled to consequential benefits in terms of arrears of salary and revised pensionary benefits accordingly. It is directed that all payments arising out of grant of Assured Career Progression, if granted, shall be paid to the petitioner within two months thereafter.
