In this case, the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to protect the life and property of petitioner as there is serious threat over the life and property of the petitioner and his family members from the private respondents.

This writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga for the reliefs prayed for in this writ petition. If such a representation is filed, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga will examine the same and if he finds substance in the representation of the petitioner then he may proceed in accordance with law.

It is clarified that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.
