JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-07-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s), to cancel the allotment of shop which has been allotted to respondent no.04 as the shop which has been allotted to respondent no. 04 had already been allotted to the petitioner in the year 2010 under letter no. 344 dated 19.03.2010 and the petitioner was running the shop since then and was paying the rent regularly also, but the said shop has now been allotted to respondent no. 04 without cancelling the allotment of petitioner and also
Patna High Court CWJC No.8178 of 2024(2) dt.18-07-2024 2/2 without giving any prior information to the petitioner and further to direct the respondent authorities to continue the allotment in favour of the petitioner as the petitioner is earning his livelihood from the shop since year 2010 and the petitioner has no other means to earn except the said shop to earn livelihood for the family of the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
