1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "(i) For seeking the issuance of the appropriate writ/order/direction, such as a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ/order/direction, for a court of inquiry into the Recruitment Scam in NIT Patna. (ii) For the issuance of an appropriate order to validate the eligibility of Vishwanath in this

Patna High Court CWJC No.8690 of 2024(2) dt.22-07-2024 2/2 advertisement based on the date of birth certificate, such as Digilocker.

(iii) For the issuance of an appropriate direction to ensure that the respondents refrain from any unfair practices in upcoming vacancies or recruitment. (iv) For the issuance of an appropriate direction regarding disciplinary action against officials involved in such recruitment scams."

2. At the outset, the petitioner, appearing in person, seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
