Patna High Court CWJC No.14957 of 2004 dt.12-09-2017 2/2 and letter no. H.O./PRS/04-05/199 dated 04.08.1984, whereby ten respective Junior Officers of Scale-I (Respondent Nos. 4 to 13) have been allowed to steal a march over the petitioners, granting them promotion in the Scale-II Grade.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners appears and states that he has no instructions in the matter.

3. None appears on behalf of the respondents when the matter is called.

4. Considering that the writ petition has been pending since 2004 and the petitioners also appear to have stopped taking interest in the matter and have not instructed their counsel appropriately, as learned counsel has appeared without the brief and no submissions to be made, the writ petition stands dismissed.
