JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-07-2026 Heard Mr. Ratan Kumar Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the Lalit Narayan Mithila University and learned AC to GP-3 for the State.

2. The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought, inter alia, the following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "I. For issuance of writ/writs, direction/directions, order/orders commanding and directing the respondents concerned in the nature of Mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondents concerned, to make payment of amount of Gratuity and other arrears of retirement benefits, group insurances and etc. along with the statutory interest who was superannuated 31/01/2020 from the post of Associate Professor, H.O.D., Department of History from L.N. Mithila University, for which the petitioner has written several letters/

II. And/or any other relief/s, writ/writs, direction/directions for which the petitioner is found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner admitting the fact that detail information is not contained in his earlier representation, finds it proper to file a comprehensive representation before the Registrar of the University giving details regarding the service particulars of the petitioner and the payment in respect of the retiral dues under different heads, which he has not received till date.

4. Considering the aforesaid submission, the petitioner, if so advised, may file a fresh comprehensive representation for his claim for retiral dues under different heads before the Registrar of the Univesity.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner has already superannuated in the year 2020 and he is still aggrieved for non payment of retiral dues under different heads, I find it proper to direct the Registrar of the University to call for the service particulars relating to the petitioner and take immediate steps to make payment of admitted dues and also ensure to make payment of statutory interest at the applicable rate accrued on account of delay in payment of retiral dues, as well as, provide

6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
