The petitioners have approached this Court for a direction to the respondents to issue Ration Card and Red Card under the B.P.L. scheme.

The issue as to grant of Ration Card and Red Card is covered by the scheme and the authorities under the scheme are expected to discharge their duties on uniform basis without any

The petitioners have applied for grant of Ration Card and Red Card and thereafter they approached the different authorities for redressal of their grievance under the Public Grievance Redressal Act, yet their grievance has not been redressed.

Considering the aforesaid, the present writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Sub-Divisional Officer, Daudnagar, Aurangabad to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioners for grant of Ration Card and Red Card under the B.P.L. scheme at the earliest preferably within a period of sixty days after the general election.
