1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ(s), Order(s), Direction(s) directing the Respondents to consider and appoint the petitioner on compassionate Ground on suitable post in accordance with law or make payment of ex gratia amount as per Banking Regulations & Rules. And/Or Pass such any other order/orders which may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

2. That non considering and non-appointing

Patna High Court CWJC No.8515 of 2023(2) dt.05-12-2023 2/2 the petitioner on compassionate round by the Respondents is arbitrary, illegal, unwarranted erroneous and a clear case of non application of mind. Action of Respondents is also in violation of the provisions of the Article-14, 16 and 21 of the constitution of India as well as Principles of Natural Justice. Action of the Respondents is also against the Baking Rules and Regulations."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
