1. It is submitted by the petitioner, appearing in person, and the learned Advocate for the Opposite Party that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the petitioner/substituted complainant is not willing to proceed with Complaint Case No. 7853(C) of 2023, pending before the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna Sadar, Patna, on the basis of deed of settlement, dated 11th day of July, 2025. A copy of the deed of settlement is annexed herewith with a supplementary affidavit.

2. It is found from the deed of settlement that the dispute between the parties has been settled upon a decision to pay Rs. 4,50,00,000/- only, out of which 1,00,00,000/- has already been paid. The balance amount of Rs. 3,50,00,000/- would be paid in three installments, first being on or before three months from the date of execution of the deed, second installment on or before six months from the date of execution of the deed and the third installment on or before ten months from the date of execution of the deed.

3. This Court finds that the impugned order

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.400 of 2024(6) dt.22-07-2025 3/3 relates to taking cognizance of offence against accused, Manish Singh, Uday Pratap Singh @ Uday Singh and Tarkeshwar Singh under Sections 323, 406 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. The offences are compoundable.

5. Therefore, the Complaint Case No. 7853(C) of 2023 is disposed of on compromise.

6. The instant revision is, accordingly, allowed, subject to the conditions that the petitioner is at liberty to mention the matter, if any installment is not paid after expiry of the period stipulated in the deed of settlement by the accused persons.
