2. The Forest Divisional Officer, Vaishali is said to have taken cognizance of the cutting of trees. There is nothing stated in the writ petition as to how the cutting of trees would be illegal, except for the bland averment that twenty years back, these were planted for the benefit of environment and good health. It is further alleged that the Mukhiya of the Gram Panchayat, Maudah Bujurg has sold the trees illegally, who has not been impleaded in the official capacity or in person.
