JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 25-07-2022 Petitioner's mother was serving in the respondentNagar Parishad, Motihari as Safai Karamchai. It is the petitioner's case that his mother passed away on 04.05.2021 and he has made his application for compassionate appointment on 30.05.2022 before the Chief Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Motihari (respondent no. 6). The copy of the representation is Annexure-9. The learned counsel for the respondent State as well as learned counsel for the respondent Nagar Parishad have appeared.

The writ application is disposed of with direction to the respondent no. 6 to take a decision on the petitioner's pending claim by a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
