2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 333 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 61(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

4. As per prosecution case, the marriage of daughter of the informant was solemnized with the son of the petitioner on 05.06.2025. The daughter of the informant was subjected to torture and abuse by her husband and mother-inlaw due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and later she was murdered by her in-laws.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34088 of 2026(2) dt.20-05-2026 2/3 petitioner is innocent and she has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner neither demanded any dowry not tortured the deceased and the allegation levelled against her is general and omnibus. In fact, she lives separately and has no concern with the daily affairs of the deceased and her husband. The husband of the deceased is already in judicial custody. Learned counsel lastly submits that petitioner has clean antecedent and she is in custody since 26.02.2026.

6. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that petitioner is a lady having clean antecedent and further considering her period of custody and the general and omnibus nature of allegation levelled against her and also taking into account the fact that husband of the deceased is already in judicial custody, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34088 of 2026(2) dt.20-05-2026 3/3 amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 333 of 2025.

9. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observation shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
