Petitioner is in custody in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 379 of 2018 for the offence Section 30(a), 38, 41 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. In the instant case total 648 liters of foreign liquor was seized.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 3.4.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and nothing was recovered from his conscious

No.32454 of 2019(2) dt.29-05-2019 2/2 possession, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of IInd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Gopalganj, in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 379 of 2018.
