1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited ('SBPDCL' in short).

2. The petitioners have filed the instant application for the following relief(s):

Patna High Court CWJC No.8230 of 2025(2) dt.03-06-2025 2/3 "I. For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities, particularly respondent no.5 to accept the application of the petitioners for an electrical connection and allow them to deposit the requisite amount for supply of an electrical connection to the premises of the petitioners situated at Palson Road, Police Station-Digha, District-Patna.

II. For holding that in view of Clause4.13 (B) of the Bihar Electricity Supply Code, 2007, even the person, who is not able to produce the proof of ownership of the premises are allowed to take electric connection on submission of certain documents.

III. For necessary direction upon the respondent authorities to provide electricity supply to the premises of the petitioners within one month of the receipt of the application of the petitioners for electric connection.

IV. For any other direction, which Your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

At the outset, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the application may be disposed of in terms of the order dated 15.1.2024 (Annexure-P/2) passed in CWJC no.10 of 2024 directing the respondent no.5 to accept the application made by the petitioners along with the requisite charges and to consider the same in accordance with law.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents has got no objection to the aforesaid prayer made on behalf of the petitioners.

5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CWJC No.8230 of 2025(2) dt.03-06-2025 3/3 having perused the contents of the petition, the Assistant Electric Engineer, Electric Supply Sub-Division, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, Digha, Patna (respondent no.5) is directed to accept the application of the petitioners for electrical connection along with the requisite charges and to consider the same in accordance with law.

6. The respondent no.5 shall consider the application and do the needful within a period of four weeks of receipt of the copy of representation/online application along with this order.

7. The writ application stands disposed of.
